Class Syllabus: Syllabus (Geo B).doc
‚Äč

***Review this syllabus with your parent(s)/guardian(s), and then bring the signed last page back to class.  Also, make sure have a copy of the syllabus in the front of your binder.

All information about the class procedures, such as homework assignments, tests, quizzes, grading, etc. can be found on the class syllabus.  Please, both parent(s)/guardian(s) and students review the class syllabus so you know what the expectations are for this class, and how to be successful in it.

Necessary Course Materials:

Binder, Binder, Binder (with tabs)!!!  Your binder is your friend, so make sure you have it with you at all times in this class and make sure it is ordered, up-to-date, and accurate!  In addition to your binder, you should come prepared with a pencil or pen (a pencil is always preferred for math).  Calculators, lined paper, graph paper, and any other necessary materials will be provided for you in class.

Homework Help:

If you are struggling at home, take a look at my Useful Links page for some starters for help.  Khan Academy is a great resource, or simply researching a topic on Google or YouTube will usually get you the help you need.  My Useful Links are found here: Useful Links.  Also, we are living in what I consider to be the 'Technology Era', so you have a basically infinite resource in the Internet, at your disposal.  If your notes or textbook just aren't enough, search the Internet, there are tons of useful resources that might work better for you.  Remember, it doesn't matter how you learn it, as long as you learn it.

Class Calendar

Absent students should refer to the class calendar which can be found here: Calendar.  This will provide you with the information on what we did in class on the day you missed.  I will try my best to include links to any hand outs either on my Calendar or somewhere else on this website.  I will typically update the Calendar at the end of the school day, so make sure to check it periodically.  In addition to the daily agenda, I will also put reminders for upcoming quizzes and test, just make sure to choose the appropriate class.
