Art Club
Dearest previous and current art students,
Art club will be up and running on Tuesdays directly after school till 4:00. First meeting will be on Tuesday, Sept. 18th.

We are working towards an Art Festival Fundraiser anticipated for April 12 from 4-6:30PM. Coloring books, comic books, face-painting, henna tattoos, an art auction, refreshments, children's art table, and handmade "Pandora-like" metal lined beads to add to your bracelets for a fraction of the cost are all anticipated along with a costumed visitor(s) which will be announced when confirmed at a later date for photo opportunities. Money is being raised for (TBD). Last years fundraiser benefitted Children's Hospital in Detroit with monies being donated for patient 'art supplies.
The rest of the meeting will be to determine how art club will be run.

For new members:
Go to your locker, grab your stuff then come down to E130 (last room on left before double doors). There will be a sign-in sheet. Look for it and sign in. Find a seat. Bring in your preferred art materials. We have storage available if you want. Personal music devices/phones are fine after the officers get the business part of the meeting taken care of (usually takes about 10 minutes but varies). If you don't drive, have your ride pick you up at the athletic doors on the east side of the building. (There is seating there if you have to wait.) You will be responsible to arrange for your own transportation (many art club people car pool).
