|The school entrance doors on the northwest side in the parent drop off area will be closed from here forward due to construction. Any students being dropped off on the west side of the building will need to enter through the doors near the counseling office.
Next school year’s class registration materials were shared and reviewed with all current 10th and 11th graders this week. Students should be bringing the materials home to review with parents. They need to be returned with a parent signature by March 7. Beginning March 7, our WHS counselors will be calling down each student to go over their course selection sheets and to enroll students in the proper classes for next school year.
February 20 - March 17 - The Class of 2018 ANP Committee is having a Cheesecake Fundraiser. Cheesecakes will be delivered April 12. Flyers can be found on the Class of 2018 Facebook page and on our 2018 webpage.
February 27 or 28 - Any WHS students wanting to audition for our Spring Musical “Hairspray” can do so by staying after school either of these two days. See Mr. Clemons in Room A301 with questions.
Tues., February 28 - 6:00 PM - Michigan College of Beauty in Monroe - Students interested in taking Cosmetology next year, along with their parents, must attend this mandatory meeting.
Sat., March 4 - Our WHS Athletic Booster Club is hosting a Steak and Comedy Night. Tickets are $25 each and can be purchased from any WHS coach, in the athletic office, or by calling Craig Yanos (313) 574-3077.
Wed., March 8 - Jostens will be here for all three lunches to distribute caps and gowns to all seniors that ordered them. If you have not ordered them yet, you can still visit www.jostens.com to do so.
